Function
What this part does
A worn support roller shows up as drum misalignment first
The roller pair sits under the riding ring and takes the entire rotating load. Once the surface wears unevenly, the drum starts to run slightly off axis: the ring wears faster, the drive pulls more current, and drying becomes uneven along the shell. Replacing the roller before the ring is damaged is far cheaper than replacing both.
Engineer’s note
Measure the existing roller diameter and the drum weight before ordering. Roller diameter, shaft size and bearing seat are matched to the equipment, and clearance is confirmed against the riding ring.
