The disc turns at a low speed while the blades lift and fold the bed, so additives reach every particle without crushing it.
A flat open pan empties completely and can be washed down between recipes — useful when the same line runs several formulas.
One vertical shaft and a geared motor do the work, which keeps spares to blades, bearings and the disc liner.
Handles organic and chemical blends, including BB fertilizer, with a moisture range that suits both dry mixing and light dampening.
Throughput from 2 to 12 t/h across the range, so the mixer can sit behind a batching unit without becoming the bottleneck.
How the vertical disc mixer works
A pan, a shaft and three blades
Material drops into a shallow circular pan. A vertical shaft carries blades that rotate close to the bottom, throwing the bed upward and inward so the whole charge keeps turning over. Because there is no tight clearance to shear against, fragile granules survive the pass and the blend stays even from top to bottom.
Discharge is through a bottom gate, so the pan empties without a scraper and the next batch starts clean. The open top makes inspection and blade changes a one-person job.
Blend quality depends on fill level as much as on speed. Running the pan much below its working volume shortens the cycle but leaves dead zones at the wall, so batch size and blade height are confirmed together.

Technical parameters
Before ordering
- Batch size and required cycles per hour
- Bulk density and moisture of the blend
- Site voltage and phase
- Discharge height and bin layout
Capacity figures are for free-flowing granular material; damp or high-bulk-density feeds are confirmed case by case.
