Maintenance of Double Roller Extrusion Granulator

The raw materials are rolled between the rollers by the hopper of double roller extrusion granulator, and then the cake materials of pellets jointed together are rolled out; later the cake materials are sent into the crushing machine, and finally the mixing materials after crushing will be screened and discharged. The reducer and motor of double roller extrusion granulator adopt flexible belt to drive, which can start smoothly, reduce the impact force and increase the service life.

Daily Maintenance for Double Roller Extrusion Granulator:

Cooling gear box should use clean tap water, in case of clogging the cooler’s tube, so that the lubricating oil temperature will rise high, influencing the lubrication of the gear box.

Observe the working conditions of the gear box frequently, such as noise, vibration, temperature rise, etc. If any abnormal situation is found, deal with it promptly.

Most part of the double roller granulator are made of steel, so antirust paint should be applied on the machine in winter, and store the machine in a ventilated dry place.

Once the rubber parts of double roller extrusion granulator are damp or stained with oil, the rubber parts will age and crack and its service life will be reduced.
